Description
Levelling additives are commonly used in waterborne lacquers to improve the flow and
leveling of the coating, resulting in a smoother and more even finish.
These additives work by reducing the surface tension of the coating, allowing it to spread more easily and
evenly over the surface being coated.
They are added to the lacquer formulation at a low percentage, typically between 0.3% and 1,5%.
